Opening Gifts, Even the Poorly Wrapped Ones

“I'm interested in the question of the transmission of knowledge in resonance and harmony with feeling, learning and aligning heart-body-head. Since 2000, my primary tool as an actor has been the body—we work with the goal of identifying, observing, feeling and creating motion with well-being or ailments. Working on listening, balance, imbalance and harmonizing the whole of the work is in itself a course to be experienced in consciousness once in a lifetime. The body is an incredible teacher. When we listen to it. Why would this toolkit be for actors only? This answer was absurd, so I send alternate tools for virtual or face-to-face exchanges to people in all sectors of activity. I observe that this helps to reduce anxiety and performance stress, naturally generates greater alignment between the individual and his value system, increases inner peace, better equips you to face hardships, support in order to become a creator of an ideal personal lifestyle increases people’s self-confidence and other testimonies will relate to more intimate aspects.”
- Stephanie Lavoie (December 2022)
Initiative created at the beginning of the creation of the doctoral research project of the actress-creator and entrepreneur, Stéphanie Lavoie. The researcher wishes to make a contribution by working to propose solutions to these social ills. In May 2021, she set up a program aimed at observing, feeling, listening, discerning, welcoming, transforming and sharing. The main pivots are: anxiety, performance stress, connection to the body, connection to the head, rebalancing heart-body-head, self-confidence, communication, expressions, hardships, blockages, personal challenges to overcome, awakening and equipment (or tools ). The relationship to the head, the relationship to the body, the relationship to oneself as well as the relationship to the other became working tools, a profession, then tools of transmission for the researcher. For a long time, she sought her extension as an actress-creator. Covid-19 has played this role: initiating reflection, proposing societal solutions based on tools that it has itself experienced since 2000, then helping to advance research. Currently, important associations are taking shape in order to bring this innovation intended for the collective accessible to the greatest number of individuals. Finding or rediscovering a heart-body-head alliance in a society subject to anxiety and performance stress is one of the team’s concerns.
Please note: Information gathering, the doctoral process, procedures, exchanges, and the website are currently under development. This platform is intended as a public showcase to present drafts, program orientations, and participant testimonials, while strictly respecting confidentiality rules.
Since May 2021, research, field observations, experimentation, and refinement have been carried out with adolescent and adult participants from French-speaking Canada, English-speaking Canada, Europe, and Africa. Since October 2021, an ethics committee has been involved in overseeing the doctoral project.
Title of the doctoral project: Development, implementation, and evaluation of an intervention program for adults with anxiety disorders — a research initiative that sparked interest and collaboration with the Laboratory for Research on Adaptation Difficulties and Psychosocial Intervention (LAREDAIP), led by Professor Dr. Saïd Bergheul (UQAT).
If you wish to support the development of this program, please contact us. For any questions, feel free to reach out to Stéphanie Lavoie. Welcome, everyone!

After a few weeks, the testimonials reveal a variety of experiences:
Some participants report discovering tools that promote greater body awareness, mental clarity, and a sense of inner calm. They also mention enjoying moments of learning, the richness of exchanges, and the creation of a toolbox inspired by techniques used by actors. These reflections highlight the importance of human connections, play, and the meaningful interactions experienced throughout the program.

❣️Actress❣️Entrepreneur❣️ 🤍 Program 📚
I am a modest woman. I live in northern Quebec. Nature is my anchor. In my heart, culture, projects and development represent "meeting" and making a difference, together. I am in recognition and gratitude for all these meetings, cultural and entrepreneurial projects that work to give, but which have also brought me a lot. I initiated some. I received a lot. Thank you.
Currently, I'm working as an Executive Assistant with the Technosub Group, picking up some artistic contracts and building my program.
